From the Pastor's Pen

It is a joy to pastor the exciting and growing Greenwood Baptist Church, located on the outskirts of the city of Joplin, Missouri.  We came as pastor July 1, 2008.  My vision for the church is that she continues to reach out to the community with a love for people, that Jesus might use us to make disciples, “…baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19b), and teaching them to mature in the Lord.

My prayer is that we will be a people of prayer, and that we will grow in our love for the Lord, for one another, and for all people everywhere.

To all who are weary and need rest; to all who are lonely and want friendship; to all who mourn and need comfort; to all who pray and to all who do not, but ought; to all who sin and need a Saviour; and to whosoever will...this church opens wide the door, and says in the name of Jesus, Welcome!
